tony. been wanting to get in touch and see how we could connect. but wanted to say i agree. and i like the definition about being enlivened. and i would say that we are all still looking for what we're looking for and won't know what it is until we find it. i would even add the caveat that God is outside of one faith practice, but at the same time it is important to support what you believe and at the same time grasp the divine commerce of god's omnipresence. that third question is a good one, and i do find it interesting that in the hebrew metaphor of Eden we have mankind walking with God naturally. so, we can't get away from sin (chait, hebrew) upsetting the rhythm. and so since we screwed it up (not epidemically speaking), it seems things like work have no joy because the excess toil we gained post-eden seemed to bore us to tears rather than invite us into joy. hmmm...and so, to pursue disciplines is an opportunity. like the hebrew word for sacrifice means to draw close to god. i talk abit about this stuff in my new book, out soon!

Hi,

the books came in today. There is one in your mailbox if you have one and the others are in the sunday school classroom if you do not have a mailbox or if you want an extra copy so that there is no fighting at home.
